The following things are required in order for us to give you an accurate quote:
-
Your sketch, drawing, sample, prototype and/or CAD file. CAD files are preferred and will reduce overall lead times. We can generate CAD files, usually for a fee. Confidentiality agreements can be issued before submission.
-
Material specifications. If you are not sure, you can research the IDES Link in the main menu under Thermoplastic Capabilities. You can also explain your parts function so we may suggest possible choices.
-
Colour specifications. Standard and custom colours are acceptable.
-
Part surface finish. Some parts are not visible in their end stage, some are highly visual. The information you provide will determine the degree of polish required for the mould.
-
Quantities. Prototype to large volume quantities.
-
Your schedule. Normal lead times can range from 4 to 12 weeks for final product, depending on the complexity of the project. Expedited delivery may be available for an additional cost.
With the above information, we will present a formal quote for your review and comparison. Our quotes outline all details of your project and show all costs, nothing is hidden or left for you to assume.
Upon approval of our quote, we then issue the appropriate documentation and collect any down deposits required to start the project. Mould design will begin if new moulds are required.
When received, mould(s) are then tested and sample parts are provided for your approval. Full production is then scheduled after your final approval.
